Holladay Village Condominiums is a 16-unit mixed-use project in the heart of Holladay, Utah. The owner/client requirement that all units were required to have main living areas facing the Wasatch Mountains created some unusual design challenges. Many of the design decisions throughout the project had to be made with this requirement in mind. One such decision was to have each of the four elevators in the project serve only four units each to allow for a design that would meet the client’s requirement. This also allows the residents to park below the building and take the elevator directly to their home.  The overall traditional design along with the commercial space along the street, are reflections of the city zoning requirements.
