The Erbil Hotel was designed for UB Holding Company, an international player in oil, shipping, mining, food distribution and hospitality. The hotel was designed to cater to international travelers and conventions. The hotel project includes 256 guest rooms, outdoor resort space with tennis courts and a swimming pool, restaurants, and convention meeting rooms. The preliminary design phase for the project was completed before the project was put on “hold” due to terrorist activity in the region.
